The annual Ice Cream Festival is perhaps the oldest tradition Salisbury has, with the event dating back more than 50 years! While ICF has taken place at many different locations over the years and featured many different types of games or activities (at one time there was a petting zoo and rock climbing walls), these days it's hosted by the PTO on the ground of the elementary school on the first Saturday in June.

Community members come from all over the district to attend, and many of them will share stories about their memories from when they were kids kicking off the start of summer with the ICF.

As you can see, a lot goes into planning this beloved event, which is why we need as many volunteers as we can get, both the day of ICF and in the months leading up to it for our planning committee.
