There are so many different ways to get involved in the PTO. Not only can you volunteer your time by signing up to help out with events, but you can also volunteer your skills by helping us plan for the school year, carry out ideas, and even put together packets that need to be sent home to families. You can see a list of our current volunteer opportunities below.
Purse Bingo Committee
The committee that plans our annual Purse Bingo event, which will be held on March 10th from noon until 4PM, is looking for a few more people to help plan for the 2024 event. You can email sespto@salisburysd.org for more information. Not only are we looking for help planning, but the PTO is also in search of sponsors to help offset the cost of the event as well as volunteers for the day of. You can click here to see how you can get involved.
Ice Cream Festival Committee
Planning will begin for June's Ice Cream Festival beginning in January so anyone interested in helping with this event should email sespto@salisburysd.org as soon as possible. This is Salisbury's oldest running tradition and one that many people alumni and parents have fond memories of.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
The PTO is committed to ensuring that all students feel included and represented, which is why we are working to create a Diversion, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC). We're always looking for more people to get involved with this committee. Please email lakewi2016@gmail.com for more information and to get involved.
The PTO's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee will be meeting March 13th in the Faculty Lounge at Salisbury Elementary School at 6:30 PM. Please join us as we discuss the ways that the PTO can work to ensure that all of the students at SES are being supported by our fundraising and enrichment efforts. You can RSVP to our meeting by clicking here.
There will be more opportunities throughout the year, including some of the options listed below.
Please feel free to reach out to us by emailing sespto@salisburysd.org if you would like more information about how you can volunteer or if you'd like to sign up to help with any of our events.
