Our Afterschool Club program features a collection of clubs hosted by the teachers and staff at SES. These clubs take place directly after school ends — you'll be able to let the school know that your child is staying for a club by marking it in the School Dismissal Manager app each day they are set to stay late — and parents/caregivers are responsible for transporting their children home once the club ends for the day.
Some of the clubs we have offered in the past include:
- Rock Painting Club
- Crochet Club
- Improv Comedy Club
- Creativity Club
- Cheer Club
- Imagination Stations
- LEGO Club
- Cool Crafts Club
- STEM Club
- Stop Motion Animation Club
- Art Club
- Builders Club
- Directed Drawing Club
- Book Club
- Dance Club
Clubs operate on a first-come first-served basis, and children are only allowed to sign up for one club per year. However, if we make it through the first round of signups and empty spots remain in some of the clubs, we will open registration back up for those who want to add their child to an additional club.
Aside from the t-shirts and fieldtrips, clubs are one of the biggest expenses that the PTO faces each year and one of the reasons why we fundraise so hard to ensure that we're able to offer them. The PTO does accept direct donations to help fund this event, and you can make a contribution by clicking here.
