The final tally is in for all the fundraising efforts from the Color Run! The grade that raised the most and has won the Ice Cream Party reward is 2nd grade. Congratulations 2nd grade you have raised over $4,000 for your school! But that's not all SES students....all of your fundraising efforts have totalled over $15,000!!!! Each of you will be celebrating with a movie and snack day in the near future. Congratulations!

SEPTEMBER 30th LEADERBOARD:
THE MOMENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR IS HERE!!!
The race to see which two classrooms earned color blasting Mr. Brem and Mr. Muschlitz is now over. But, before we name the winning classes we want to thank each and every one of you for your generosity, help, and enthusiasm during this contest. Every single student will benefit from the funds raised for this year's Color Run, so thank you!
Now, for the moment we've all been waiting for... In 1st place, raising $2,289.00, are the students in Mrs. Shaffer’s 2nd grade class!
In second place, raising an amazing $2,080.00, is Ms. Unger’s 1st grade class.
Congratulations to all the students in both classes and thank you to everyone for raising more than $12,000 this year.
REMEMBER: Just because the Color Blast contest is over it doesn't mean we're done with the fun. We still have a grade level prize to award to the grade who raises the most money by this Saturday. Additionally, if we manage to raise $15,000 the entire school will earn a movie day with snacks! So don't forget to register/donate here: https://runsignup.com/sescolorrun
September 26th:
The PTO has an update on the amazing fundraising efforts for this year's Color Run. After another exciting day of donations, we have an update on the current leaders in the race to Color Blast Mr. Brem and Mr. Muschlitz. As of right now, Mrs. Shaffer's 2nd grade class is in first place followed by Mrs. Unger's kindergarten class. But they do NOT have a comfortable lead! Mr. Somishka's 3rd grade class is less than $300 behind. Because things are so close, we're going to extend registration and fundraising until this Sunday, 9/29 at 8pm. Additionally, 20 students will be randomly selected to color blast Mrs. Shermetta, Mrs. Sugra, Mrs. Zellner, Mrs. Kehm next week!
Second grade is also currently in the lead for the Ice Cream Party and extra recess. Donations for the grade level prize will continue to be counted through October 5th, so that one is still anybody's race!
That being said, absolutely everyone is a winner in this contest since the money you're raising helps the PTO fund field trips, school shirts, after school clubs and other givebacks throughout the year.
Make a direct donation to support the Color Run and help SES
here and select "other" and type in the classroom you wish to donate towards.
Thank you for your continued support!

SEPTEMBER 24th STANDINGS:
We have exciting news Salisbury! We're going to skip today's Color Blast and Ice Cream Party leader board update to make a big announcement!
With just three days left to contribute to the Color Blast contest, we're excited to announce a last minute surprise. Now, in addition to the top two classes getting to Color Blast Mr. Muschlitz and Mr. Brem, 20 additional high profile fundraisers will be picked to Color Blast some SES teachers who are now getting in on the fun and helping us raise some more money for the school, including:
Mrs. Shermetta
Mrs. Sugra
Mrs. Zellner
Ms. Kern
Who knows, we may even have a few possible last minute additions. So, please remember to keep those fundraising efforts going so that you can take part in the excitement!
You can also help offset the costs of running the Color Run by making a direction donation. Email sespto@salisburysd.org for more information!
Lastly, you can help spread the word. Liking and commenting on fundraising posts always helps makes them more visible, both within this group and in your Facebook feed. So cheer on the students in your life and help them win those exciting prizes!
SEPTEMBER 23rd STANDINGS:
There has been some very intense fundraising coming out of Mr. Somishka's third grade class as they continue to maintain their hold on first place! The race for second is getting tighter though, with just about $200 separating the second and third places of Mrs. Shaffer and Mrs. Unger, respectively. And, with three more days left to the contest, there's still time for an upset.
Speaking of upsets, all that third grade fundraising is paying off because they are now in the lead for the grade level prize!
Of course, we do still have a few more days of fundraising left. As we know from previous years, things can change dramatically from day to day, so now is not the time to give up.
All donations made by September 27th will count towards the principal Color Blast and all donations made through the day of the event will be applied towards the grade level prize!
REMEMBER: It's not too late to register and get in on the fun! You can sign up by returning your Color Run packet to the school or by completing your online registration form here.

SEPTEMBER 22nd STANDINGS
It looks like Mr. Somishka's class decided to spend the weekend doubling down on their fundraising efforts, maintaining their Friday lead. But, while the top spot didn't change much, we did see a significant shift in second place. Now, it looks like Mrs. Shaffer's second graders have narrowly edged out Mrs. Unger's kindergartners, putting them ahead in the race.
Second grade also looks set to win the grade level prize as of now, but they are NOT in a comfortable lead, with third and first grade both hot on their tails!
Of course, we do still have a few more days of fundraising left. As we know from previous years, things can change dramatically from day to day, so now is not the time to give up.

SEPTEMBER 20th STANDINGS
The competition has gotten off to a fierce start, with Mr. Somishka's 3rd grade class currently in the lead for the Color Blast. As a reminder, it was Mr. Somishka's class that won this prize in 2022, and it seems like Mr. Somishka is eager to take part in the Color Dusting again!
But, that doesn't mean that this group of students have secured the lead. As you can see from the rankings, there is still plenty of room for advancement. And with a little over a week to go, anyone can end up nabbing those top two spots!
As for the grade level ice cream party, it looks like second grade and kindergarten are currently in a deadlock, which means that this weekend's fundraising efforts will be important to pull one of those two groups ahead. But, much like the classroom race, there's still plenty of time for an upset to happen!
